Description
The name ‘Nola Wonga’ means moonflower. Felix Soba gave this name to the Farmers Group when he founded it in 2014 to help preserve the organic Arabica heritage of Bajawa, Flores. In Wolo Wio village, coffee grows among rubber trees and other crops on volcanic hillsides.
For this wine-process lot, ripe cherries are handpicked, delivered, and pulped within a day. They then undergo a process similar to that of natural winemaking. The result is nothing like the usual earthy Indonesian coffee. Instead, it is vibrant, citrusy, floral, and complex. This is our most extraordinary cup.
